Kiara Ross, a Queens native and administrator at the Ridgewood YMCA, sold out the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning for her first choreographed dance show Friday night.

The performance featured dozens of diverse dancers and took place at a fitting location; The Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning was also the first place Ross ever performed when she was 5 years old.

“It was a dream of mine that became reality,” Ross said.

Ross, who has performed with stars like Rihanna and Kevin Lyttle, leads classes that incorporate African and West Indian dance styles at the Ridgewood Y, where she is Director of Healthy Lifestyles and a popular instructor.

Ross is also co-owner and director of the CarNYval Dancers, a West Indian dance company that performs and leads group workshops at events around the city.
