Kids and adults in Queens are stuck at home, looking for activities to occupy their days in isolation and take their minds off the stress and dread of COVID-19.

So the Eagle is putting out a call to local artists and illustrators: Help us provide some fun stuff for children and families throughout the borough.

Our first installment comes from Andrew Hermida, a friend of the Eagle and an illustrator who has earned a cult following by drawing the scene at every single Mets game from a seat in the Citi Field stands.

Hermida, who goes by @HermHerman on Instagram, draws the action on the field and in the crowd no matter the temperature or the amount of rain pouring onto the tarp. If you’ve been to a Mets game in the past couple years, you may have encountered him — his red, Justin Turneresque beard dangling over a drawing pad as he sketches the crowd around him.

We reached out, and Herm sent the Eagle a few black and white illustrations.

Print ‘em, color ‘em and send ‘em back to us to display here on our website!
