The Eagle is spreading its wings.

We have teamed up with NY1 and its parent company Spectrum to provide daily coverage of Queens for an even larger audience on the new Spectrum News App.

The app features at least seven original Eagle articles a week — stories available, as always, at queenseagle.com.

Five other partner publications make up a who’s who of New York City’s top local news outlets: THE CITY, City & State, Chalkbeat, Gothamist and Bklyner.

“We know that local journalism is vital to the communities we serve,” said Spectrum Executive Vice President Mike Bair. “From political coverage of press briefings, local debates and elections, to public affairs programming and community news that is relevant to local residents, our networks serve as a valuable resource, especially during times of crisis.”

The Spectrum News App is free for all users for the first 30 days, and after the trial period, will be available to all authenticated Spectrum residential video, internet and mobile customers at no additional charge.

Thank you for supporting local news.
