What was once a tunnel of dusty darkness has been converted into a beacon of welcoming brightness for passersby and customers

A new Dunkin’ Donuts now illuminates a dark, gloomy stretch of Sutphin Boulevard along the underpass across from the Long Island Rail Road’s Jamaica Station.

Community members and local leaders joined the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation on May 31 to inaugurate the new shop at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The GJDC was instrumental in attracting the business to the site at 93-31 Sutphin Boulevard.
