Why not spice up your quarantine with some Latin boogaloo, or invigorate your teleconference with some live jazz stylings?

Flushing Town Hall is making it happen.

The performance venue’s virtual Flushing Town Hall At Home! series features twice weekly Facebook live events, including global music mash-ups and children’s programming.

“In times of crisis, the arts remind us of our shared humanity,” said Flushing Town Hall Executive and Artistic Director Ellen Kodadek. “Though we may find ourselves more physically isolated than usual, none of us are alone.”

Every Tuesday and Friday at 7 p.m., Flushing Town Hall will stream prior live performances that were held at the venue. The venue’s Teaching Artists are also offering daily, online activities through the Global Arts for Global Kids at Home initiative.

The programs are free, but donations are welcome.
