U.S. Rep. Alexendra Ocasio-Cortez’s re-election campaign has raised over $82,000 in three days for organizations providing aid to neighbors impacted by COVID-19.

Ocasio-Cortez said she will direct the money to six organizations that serves undocumented families, individuals facing food insecurity and Amazon warehouse workers in her district.

“We are so grateful for their work, and we are proud to support them in lieu of our traditional end of the quarter fundraising,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

The six organizations are:

  • Amazonians United NYC, which supports warehouse workers exposed to COVID-19

  • Hungry Monk Services, which operates a mobile food pantry in Queens,

  • Make the Road NY and the New York State Youth Leadership Council, which support undocumented residents

  • The New York Immigrant Freedom Fund, which pays bonds to release detained individuals

  • The Jewish Community Council of Pelham Parkway, a Bronx-based organization
