A 28-year-old man and his passenger were killed on Sunday when their speeding minivan flipped over on the Belt Parkway service roadway, police said.

Joseph Pellot was driving a 2006 Dodge Caravan around 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 27 at a high rate of speed when at 134th Street he lost control of the vehicle and hit a light pole and a tree, police said.

When police arrived at the scene the minivan was flipped over. Pellot, 28 and an unidentified male passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by NYPD's Highway Collision Investigation Squad.
