A 92-year-old Bayside woman died from her injuries after she was the passenger in a car that collided with another vehicle in her neighborhood, police said.

Gwendolyn Booklan was the passenger of a 2007 Nissan Altima that was driven by her 59-year-old son. On Jan. 25, around 11 a.m. they reached the intersection of 33rd Avenue and 202nd Street in Bayside where a 2019 Toyota Corolla slammed into them, police said.

Both of the cars came to a stop by crashing into a cement wall.

The 19-year-old driver of the Toyota and Booklan's son remained on the scene and were not arrested.

Booklan was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital-Queens where she died on Jan. 26, police said.

The investigation is still ongoing.
