Astoria Man’s Death Ruled Homicide

The death of a 48-year-old Astoria man who was found beaten on the street a few blocks from his home was ruled a homicide on Friday.

Cary Martin’s body was found with trauma to his face on Aug. 9 in front of 20-16 18th Street. Martin, of Hazen Street, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police have not made any arrest.
