With Valentine’s Day a month away, love is in the air at Queens College’s Kupferberg Center.

On Feb. 15, the evening after Valentine’s Day, the Kupferberg Center Colden Auditorium will host Grammy award-winning salsa singer Victor Manuelle for a special Valentine's Day show.

Manuelle, a Puerto Rican star, performs personal lyrics with catchy choruses, including emotional hits like “Algo Le Pasa a Mi Héroe" and dance anthems like “Que Suenen Los Tambores."

Manuelle honed his craft in the 1990s alongside New York City contemporary stars like Marc Anthony and India. In November 2018, Manuelle won two Grammys for his latest album “25/7,” a fusion of traditional salsa and reggaeton. Hitmakers Luis Guerra and Bad Bunny also perform on the album.

Manuelle also earned the Guinness World Record for Most Charted Titles on the Billboard Latin Airplay Charts, Most Top 10 Hits on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart, most Top 10 Hits on the Billboard Tropical Airplay Chart (male), Most No. 1 Singles on the Billboard Tropical Airplay Chart and Most Charted Titles on the Billboard Tropical Airplay Chart.

Tickets for the special performance cost $49 to $109. Queens College students receive a 10 percent discount with their CUNY ID.
