Suspect Wanted In Murray Hill Rape

A 56-year-old woman was viciously attacked and sexually assaulted by a creep in Murray Hill, police said.

The woman was approached by a man near the intersection of 165th Street and Sanford Avenue on Dec. 18, where she was punched in the face multiple times, police said.

During the random assault, the unidentified man proceeded to sexually assault the woman before fleeing, police said.

The woman was taken to a hospital nearby where she was treated for her injuries and released.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall with a thin build. The man was last seen wearing a blue jacket with a fur-lined hood and a dark backpack.
