The largest hip-hop festival in the world is coming to Flushing this fall.
Rolling Loud’s organizers announced Monday on Twitter that the weekend-long festival take place at Citi Field on Oct. 12 and 13.
Tickets went on sale Friday and festival-goers will have to make a leap of faith: The tickets are $199, but the lineup won’t be released until a later date, at which point ticket prices will increase.
The festival coincides with the Major League Baseball postseason, which shouldn’t be a problem for the fourth-place New York Mets. Nevertheless, festival organizers are covering their bases and making the possibility of a venue change known to buyers.
Past headliners include some of the biggest names in hip-hop. A Miami Rolling Loud festival in May featured sets from Kid Cudi, Migos, Travis Scott and even a surprise appearance by Billy Ray Cyrus.
The festival started in Miami in 2015 and despite weather delays and technical difficulties, fans continued to support and grow the brand. Rolling Loud has since expanded to two locations in California and Japan
General admission and VIP ticket pre-sale has begun at the Rolling Loud website.
