A 34-year-old Ridgewood man was sentenced to seven to 14 years in prison Thursday after he was convicted of child sex-trafficking.

Eddy Florence was sentenced by Queens Supreme Court Justice Peter Vallone Jr. after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to sex trafficking and endangering a 15-year-old girl.

Prosecutors said Florence had placed advertisements for the victim on various escort websites and forced a 13-year-old who fled group home to have sex with strangers for money.

“Sex trafficking is an incessant act of brutality and degradation that could scar its victims for life,” said Acting District Attorney John Ryan in a statement. “I hope that these two victims will be able to overcome this ordeal and move forward in their lives.”

Florence took all proceeds and threatened the victims if they failed to make enough money, prosecutors said.
