All the World’s Borough’s a stage, even for kids stuck indoors during the first pandemic-era winter break.

The Queens Theatre will offer a series of virtual acting classes run by four local performers  from Monday, Feb. 15 to Friday, Feb. 19. The weeklong courses are open to actors aged 6 to 16 of all ability levels.

“Since we closed our doors last March due to COVID-19, we have shown that Queens Theatre is more than a building but a space for creativity and innovation – and our younger audience is core to that community,” said Queens Theatre Executive Director Taryn Sacramone.

Professional performers Willy Appelman, Brian Feinstein, Mary Archbold and Allie Marotta will teach the online acting classes.

Sacramone said families have reached out seeking artistic opportunities for children locked indoors due to pandemic restrictions.
