Neighborhood coordination officers with Queens’ 105th Precinct will host their third annual Build The Block meeting in Springfield Gardens on Sept. 9.

Residents of Springfield Gardens, Brookville and Rosedale are invited to 157-11 Rockaway Blvd. for the meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. Expect to discuss the topic of public safety in the area and collaborate with officers in identifying and solving quality of life and crime concerns. Refreshments will be available.

“This is a new way of doing business for the NYPD, and we need your help to make it work. We want to hear from a broad range of voices about what it takes to make all the residents of our neighborhood feel safe and secure,” the NYPD said in a statement on Twitter.
