MTA hosts feedback sessions for Queens bus network redesign

The MTA will host eight workshops to introduce the public to its upcoming Queens bus network redesign in January and February, and ask for feedback.
The MTA published a 434-page draft of the redesign on Tuesday, including redesigned bus routes and great bus stop accessibility. Eastern Queens, which has little access to the subway network, is one of the major focuses of the redesign.
“We are very excited about this draft plan for Queens buses because it is a true reimagination of the routes that incorporates the earned knowledge of customers, our ground personnel and operations staff to create a new foundation of bus service in Queens,” MTA NYC Transit President Andy Byford said.
All workshops will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The events will be as follows:
