Man stabbed to death outside St. Albans home

A fatal stabbing in St. Albans left one man dead and another in custody Tuesday.
Police said the stabbing occurred after a dispute between the two men escalated into violence outside of the suspect’s home at 118-49 200 St.
NYPD officers responded to a 911 call around 10:30 p.m., where they encountered a 20-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso.
He was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect, a second 20-year-old male, was taken into custody at the scene. A knife was recovered and charges are pending, the NYPD said.
The NYPD has not yet released the suspect’s name.
