A Long Island City small business incubator is doing its part to support entrepreneurs during the COVID-19 shutdown.

Entrepreneur Space will launch a local delivery service in Long Island City on March 25 to support pop-up restaurants without permanent physical locations. The eateries frequently serve food at fairs and food gatherings.

The service will deliver fresh food and prepared meals from seven participating businesses, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

Participants so far include Breadivore Bakery, Broma, Cooking with Corey, Destination Dumplings, Ipsa Provisions, Lucina’s Gourmet and Milene Jardine High Quality Chocolates.

Orders can be placed on each business’ website and the delivery catchment zone includes the area between 33rd Street and 30th Avenue to Northern Boulevard; 48th Street to 36th Street; 36th Street and Honeywell Street; 35th Avenue and 21st Street.

The company said it plans to add more businesses and eventually expand the program to all of western Queens and parts of Manhattan.

E-Space offers kitchen space and business counseling for small food businesses as they work to grow their brand before finding a permanent location, according to the company website. The space is funded by the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
