There’s food, drinks and, hopefully, a good time to be had by all at Paper Factory’s new outdoor space.

The Courtyard is a seasonal pop-up eatery opening Aug. 1 at the revamped Long Island City hotel.

It will feature an on-site food truck from Souvlaki GR, serving Greek staples under the ownership of Astoria locals. Although The Courtyard will be open seven days a week, the truck will only be open Thursday through Sunday.

Patrons will be able to enjoy live music while having a drink. Their bar is set to serve a variety of signature drinks as well as classic cocktails, wine and beer.

Outfitted with picnic tables and mood lighting, the space is a reprieve from the bustle of life outside the safety of its classic brick walls.

Located on 36th Street, just off Northern Boulevard, The Courtyard is a few short subway stops away from several museums and waterfront parks.

Paper Factory is now owned by The Collective, from the brain of London-based CEO Reza Merchant. The project aims to reinvent communal living through spaces dedicated to “co-living”  and improving the lives of those involved in the programs

The Collective took over last year, announcing plans in March for their refreshed vision for Paper Factory. The Courtyard is the first program they are launching under the brand.

Paper Factory’s official relaunch this fall will be The Collective’s first US endeavor.
