Streetwear brand Kith is spotlighting Queens College with a new collection.

Ronnie Fieg, the Queens-raised designer of the brand, announced that the fall release would highlight smaller local colleges in New York City to give students the same pride as more publicized institutions.

“I wanted to create a capsule for local colleges that aren’t as highlighted as the big name schools known around the country, to instill school pride in students in the areas I grew up in,” Fieg wrote on Instagram.

“I’m proud to present our first collegiate capsule which was crafted in partnership with The City University of New York, Queens College & Brooklyn College,” he continued. “I was born and raised in Queens, and our first Kith store opened in Brooklyn, making this project that much more important to us “

The collegiate collection was modeled first by Queens College alum Jerry Seinfeld. It includes classic sweatshirts and sweatpants with the QC pennant, fall jackets and New York City-focused accessories.

Each featured school received a $25,000 grant in partnership with nonprofit organization The Kinnect Foundation for educational programs and scholarships.

The line will be released Friday and students currently enrolled at the schools will have early access to the capsule.
