Education Department to brief Queens Borough Board on school restart plan

Officials from New York City’s Department of Education will describe school reopening plans during a meeting of the Queens Borough Board Monday.

DOE First Deputy Chancellor Donald Conyers will present the current plans starting at 5:30 p.m. The meeting at Queens Borough Hall will also include members of the Queens Borough Cabinet.

In addition to the DOE, officials from the Department of City Planning will discuss the land use review restart and the Department of Veterans’ Services will describe services and outreach for Queens veterans.
