Queens is getting another subway COVID-19 testing site this week, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced.

Among the four new sites opening this week to offer walk-in PCR tests will be the Queens Plaza E/M/R Station, available starting Jan. 12.

“We are continuing to fight the winter surge with every tool at our disposal, and making sure testing is widely available remains a key part of our strategy,” Hochul said. “It’s easy and quick, so come out and take advantage of this easy way to ensure you and your loved ones are safe.”

The site will operate Monday through Friday from 3 to 8 p.m., joining the Roosevelt Ave. and Jamaica–179th St. testing centers, also operating weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 to 7:00 p.m, respectively.

Other new sites announced are located at 125th Street Station, Bedford Park Station and Coney Island / Stillwell Station.

"Thank you Governor Hochul for providing this new testing site, which will help to improve availability in our western Queens neighborhoods,” said Assemblymember Cathy Nolan. “Increasing access to this vital service is key to reducing the burden of coronavirus infection on our families and the community."
