Attorney General’s mobile office will stop in Jamaica

The New York State Attorney General’s Office will host walk-in hours in Jamaica for residents to express concerns, file complaints and seek assistance with certain legal issues. 

Residents can bring in concerns about identity theft, fraud, civil rights, senior issues like elder abuse, and worker’s rights, such as overtime pay and minimum wage issues. 

Walk-in hours will occur from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Robert Ross Johnson Family Center at 172-17 Linden Blvd. 

Representatives of Attorney General Letitia James, U.S. Rep. Gregory Meeks, Councilmembers I. Daneek Miller, Adrienne Adams and Donovan Richards, State Sen. Leroy Comrie and Assemblymembers Alicia Hyndman Clyde Vanel will be on hand to field questions.
