Eighth Street in Astoria is one of the noisiest streets in the city, according to 311 call data crunched by the real estate website Property Club

Eighth Street received the most 311 noise complaints between January 2019 and February 2020, according to the data, clocking in at 2,683 total complaints. Data collected included complaints about banging or pounding, loud music or a party, loud talking and loud televisions. 

The streets with the second and third most complaints also located in Queens: Madison Street in Ridgewood and 9th Street in Long Island City. Of all three streets, the highest volume of complaints were about loud music or parties, with over 5,000 complaints between the three. 

However, Brooklyn nabbed the top spot for the highest volume of noise complaints among all the boroughs. Queens has the second lowest number complaints in the city, with Staten Island having the least number of complaints. 

Other Queens streets with high noise complaints include 1st Street and 3rd Street in Astoria, 5th Street in Long Island City, and Parsons Boulevard in Jamaica.
