Annual corn roast celebrates a-maize-ing culture of Jamaica

The Greater Jamaica Development Corporation hosted its annual corn roast at the Jamaica Market Saturday, enabling local residents to come together to enjoy a cob and a lemonade.

Community members of all ages made it out to the event in Downtown Jamaica, with many stopping by during their shopping trips in Downtown Jamaica. 

“Corn King” Pono Wong handled the grill and served up the ears.
