Nearly two dozen alleged members of a street gang faced new conspiracy and attempted murder charges on Thursday for their role in a “violent spree” of retaliatory shootings against other alleged rival gang members across Central Queens that left three victims injured.
Twenty-two alleged members of the Blitz Gang 4 were arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on Thursday in connection with 11 different shootings and one stabbing that took place over the last three years.
Prosecutors from the Queens district attorney’s office told multiple judges on Thursday during the all-day arraignment that the alleged gang members were behind numerous shootings throughout Hollis and Central Queens as part of an ongoing turf war.
Queens Supreme Court Justices Bruna DiBiase and Kenneth Holder tag teamed arraigning the defendants throughout the morning and afternoon.
The defendants, many of whom were minors when the alleged crimes took place, face over 90 collective counts of various charges ranging from attempted murder, to assault, to conspiracy.
Inside DiBiase’s courtroom, pews were filled with the parents, siblings, grandparents and other family members of the defendants.
Each time the door to the courtroom opened and the sounds of chains dragging against the floor echoed throughout the room, family members would anxiously turn to see if it was their relative that would be next up before the judge.
Prosecutors said ongoing investigations had linked the 22 defendants to several coordinated attempted murders and assaults on rival gang members.
One incident took place in December 2025, when several members of the Blitz Gang 4 allegedly stabbed a perceived rival gang member outside Queens Criminal Court.
According to prosecutors, a member of Blitz Gang 4 had been previously robbed by a member of the rival Floss Money Ballers gang. The FMB gang member allegedly took the Blitz Gang 4 member’s phone, and used it to post rival gang music onto his account.
Feeling slighted, members of the Blitz Gang 4 planned to retaliate, according to prosecutors.
On Dec. 11, 2025, Cameron Robinson and at least two other co-defendants waited in a car across the street from the Queens Criminal Courthouse in Kew Gardens. The defendants were allegedly aware that several FMB gang members had court appointments that day, and were planning on attacking one of them as they left the courthouse.
When the defendants saw their alleged target, the men got out of the car and jumped, kicked and stabbed the alleged rival right in front of the courthouse.
Robinson was allegedly responsible for driving his fellow gang members to and from the courthouse for the planned attack.
In another incident in May, four alleged Blitz Gang 4 members opened fire on rival gang members who were standing across the street in Hollis. Video surveillance apparently captured the muzzle flashes of four guns being fired during the incident, according to prosecutors. More than a dozen shell casings were later found at the scene.
Two of the gang’s victims sustained injuries during the various attacks described on Thursday but later recovered. A third victim had allegedly been left paralyzed after one of the incidents.
Prosecutors said the new conspiracy charges come after months of an investigation involving ballistic analysis, surveillance footage, use of confidential informants and monitoring the defendants’ social media accounts.
Social media seemingly played a vital role in forming the DA’s case against the 22 defendants. Prosecutors on Thursday claimed the alleged gang members regularly made songs about the shootings they performed, and mocked their victims on Instagram.
One assistant district attorney said they estimated they had over 1,000 pages of discovery to hand over.
The charges and potential maximum sentences varied by defendant depending on which incident they were involved in and their alleged involvement. Because of the age of certain defendants when the alleged crimes took place, some may be eligible to have their cases heard in Family Court.
Several defendants face up to 25 years prison time.
The Queens district attorney’s office declined to comment on the case.
The case is the latest in a series of gang takedowns pursued by the DA in recent years.
In November 2025, 32 alleged members of the Bad-Co Ballout gang were indicted following a year-long investigation into multiple shootings. They were allegedly responsible for carrying out at least 13 shootings, many of which were aimed at rival gang members, including the Blitz Gang 4.
In September 2025, 12 alleged members of the FMB were arrested for a series of shootings that happened between April 2024 and May 2025, mostly in their turf war with the Blitz Gang 4.
