The inaugural Summer Movie Night in Hollis Hills kicks off Thursday evening at the American Martyrs Church with a showing of “Tom & Jerry.”
The community event will begin at 7 p.m. inside the church’s parking lot, located at 79-43 Bell Blvd. The movie screening will start at 8:15 p.m.
A DJ will play music prior to the film, as members of the Hollis Hills community reconnect after a year of being apart.
The event, sponsored by the Hollis Hills Civic Association, Mike Costa of Caldwell Banker American Homes and Queens Supreme Court Justice Ira Margulis, will feature popcorn, movie theater candy and water.
Attendees should bring their own blanket or chair to sit in during the screening.
