Queens Night Market finalizes vendors two weeks ahead of opening night

The Queens Night Market has announced the first round of vendors and performances available for the public to enjoy starting June 19.
Nearly 40 vendors representing countries from around the world and live performers celebrating the same diversity have signed on to help keep attendees spirits high.
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 months since we were last open,” said Founder John Wang. “The world has changed so much since then, but we’re hoping that New York still believes in diversity and inclusivity as much as we do.”
Opening weekend performances are Samba band Os Clavelitos, jazz band The Groovalicious Project and genre blending MYXD ORDER.
For the first two weeks, the market will have a movie screen used for drive-ins on the grounds and will play highlights from the Queens Night Market Vendor Stories Oral History Project, and Black Surfers in the Rockaways from NYC & Company’s “The Freedom To Be” Video Series, launching in honor of Juneteenth.
Tickets will be sold for $5 to offset the vendor fees and support the hard-hit community
“We absolutely cannot wait to open at full capacity, and hope that our fans don’t mind underwriting vendor fees until that can happen again.” Wang said.
Current food vendors include:
Treat Yourself Jerk Chicken, DiLena's Dolcini, Anda Cafe, Hong Kong Street Food, Bstro, Joon, Kanin NYC, Cambodia Now, Sambuxa NYC, Don Ceviche, Dosa Mama, La'Maol, Moon Man, Arepalicious, Grilla in Manila, Cocotaso, C Bao, Burmese Bites, Janie's, Gi Hin Mama Food, La Brasa, Los Almendros, El Trompo, TwisterCake, Nomad Momos, Joey Bats Cafe, The Malaysian Project, Warung Jancook, Bengali Street Eats, Twisted Potato, Lion City Coffee, Caribbean Street Eats, Sam’s Fried Ice Cream, Sea Monster, .Ay Cachapas!, Nansense and Sholay.
