Northeast Queens finally has a permanent COVID-19 vaccine site, officials announced Tuesday.

Korean Community Services in Bayside will offer more than 160 appointments every day. The organization at 203-05 32nd Ave. hosted a temporary clinic last month.

The new vaccine clinic is located inside the KCS building at 203-05 32nd Ave. and will be operated by Centers Urgent Care. It is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

Local elected officials hailed the introduction of a permanent site in the region, which is home to a large number of older adults. One of every 16 residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in zip code 11361, where the new vaccine site is located.

“Equitable and accessible vaccine distribution is a critical part of New York City's continued fight against the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Assemblymember Edward Braunstein. “Thank you to KCS for working with the City to make this permanent site a reality.”

Eligible New Yorkers can now make appointments at KCS at nyc.gov/vaccinefinder or by calling 877-VAX-4NYC.
