Flushing Town Hall’s latest exhibition brings together the work of 28 emerging artists from across Queens to highlight local talent and celebrate the multi-faceted borough.

“Creative Mosaic II” was curated by Queens-based arts writer Osman Can Yerebakan and coordinated by Cristian Pietrapiana. The exhibition demonstrates the vibrant diversity of life in Queens through painting, sculpture and performance.

The variety of technique and subject matter, infused with the culture of the artists’ lives, showcases communities from around the world who find a home in Queens.

The work on display depicts life in Queens and examines the different experiences through the eyes of its residents.

The exhibition was developed by Carol Crawford and was supported by Queens Council on the Arts funding. It runs through March 15 and is open weekends from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. or weekdays by appointment. Suggested admission is $5.
