MTA adds extra community forums for Queens bus network redesign feedback

Facing anger and opposition from Queens residents and lawmakers, the MTA announced extra dates for residents to make comments about the Queens bus network redesign draft plan.

The plan, released in late December, intends to speed up travel times across the borough and provide better service to Eastern Queens in particular, where service has historically lacked. 

However, many residents are concerned about the elimination of favored bus routes, and whether that will lengthen their own trips. 

Residents can provide their feedback on the newly expanded dates, listed below:
