The fabulous flavors of Queens will mingle and merge on May 7 during the annual Queens Taste event, which will take place at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The 15th annual event will fuse Asian, Brazilian, Caribbean, Colombian, Filipino, French, Italian, Kosher, Malaysian and Mexican cuisine. Local brewers will pour pints and coffee vendors will grind beans amid the festive atmosphere.

Despite the world of flavor, the event has a distinctly local feel: Almost all 700 attendees expected to participate live or work in Queens, according to the Queens Economic Development Corporation.

Tickets to Queens Taste cost $125 each, or two for $200. Proceeds from the event go to the Queens Tourism Council’s efforts to attract, create and maintain jobs in Queens.
