More than 2,000 young men and boys from around New York City visited Queens College Friday for a college and career fair designed to help high schoolers consider their next steps after graduation.

The event, organized by the Eagle Academy Foundation, Department of Education and Queens College, featured representatives from more than 100 colleges.

“Not every young man gets to attend an Eagle Academy Foundation school, but every young man deserves the opportunity to succeed,” said Eagle Academy President and CEO David Banks. “The College and Career Fair was created to improve the educational outcomes of all students, particularly young men of color in New York City.”
