On your mark, get set, go — to Flushing Meadows Corona Park for the fourth annual Queens Marathon, set for Saturday, April 21 at 8 a.m.

The race is organized by the Queens Distance Runners, a nonprofit athletic club. The annual event will attract at least 1,000 runners from around the United States and Canada.

The race is an official qualifier for the Boston Marathon.

The six-loop course is mostly flat and weaves through soccer fields, playgrounds, the Unisphere, Citi Field, the United States Tennis Association’s Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and the Queens Museum.

Registration is $120. More information is available at qdrunners.org.

The New York Road Runners have also selected the Queens Marathon as thehost of the New York State Marathon Championships in 2019. The winner is declared the best marathoner in the state.
