A 69-year-old woman who was attempting to cross the street near her house was struck and killed by a car last month, police announced on Friday.

Ruizhen Dong was steps away from her 152nd Street home around 2 p.m. on Nov. 5, when a 2017 Toyota traveling from Jewel Avenue to her block slammed into her.

The 76-year-old driver remained on the scene as Dong was lying on the concrete, police said.

Dong, 69, suffered trauma to her head and torso and was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital on Main Street where she was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
