An elderly South Jamaica man was found dead in the water off Long Island after leaving his senior care residence, police said.

Hendricks Walls was last seen leaving the Calvary Baptist Church Senior Housing facility located on Claude Avenue after midnight on Nov. 29.

Walls, 85, was reported missing the following day and his body was found 30 miles away off the Great South Bay in Lindenhurst, L.I, police said.

Suffolk County police were notified on Dec. 1 around 8:30 a.m. for a body in the water, according to Newsday.

NYPD officials confirmed on Sunday that the body found on the boat ramp was Walls.

The investigation is ongoing as the medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.

Request for comment from Calvary Baptist Church Senior Housing was not immediately received.
