Cops Release Chilling Video of St. Albans Murder Suspect

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects involved in the death of a 58-year-old St. Albans man during an attempted home invasion.
As Mario Cesar entered his 116th Avenue home on on June 28, a man approached and pushed him to the ground. During the 9:30 a.m. attack, Cesar was stabbed multiple times in the face and torso, police said.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video before the murder creeping in the back of a neighbor’s home before attacking Cesar. The knifeman was captured on video fleeing on foot and enter a silver Chevrolet Impala, police said.
Cesar, 58, was taken to Franklin General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The alleged stabber is described as an African-American man, who was last seen wearing black and white gloves, a purple bucket hat, a black hooded coat, purple pants and dark colored shoes.
There is no description for the driver of the getaway car, police said.
