Newly elected Civil Court Judge Lance Evans was sworn in at a special induction ceremony on Wednesday.

Judge Jeremy Weinstein administered the oath and several of Evans’ relatives participated in the ceremony, including Evans’ cousin Joseph Evans, who held the Bible.

Evans, a court attorney-referee in the Residential Foreclosure Part, was elected to the bench in November’s general election.
