Police Arrest Queens Bank Robber

A Woodside man who made off with $17,000 in cash from a Capital One Bank after failing to lift cash from a Chase Bank was arrested on Wednesday, police said.

Victor Larsen was allegedly seen on surveillance video on Oct. 16 around 11 a.m. after a bank teller at a Chase Bank on Woodside Avenue sounded the alert when he attempting to rob them.

Two hours later, Larsen went to a Capital One Bank on Jamaica Avenue where he approached the bank teller and handed him a note demanding money, police said.

The teller handed 54-year-old Larson $17,000 in cash and Larson fled the scene, police said.

Larson, of 60th Street, was arrested on Wednesday on three counts of first-degree robbery charges.
