Ridgewood Church Holds Memorial for Homeless Resident

Arkadiusz Jasinski, a Ridgewood resident, was found dead at the corner of Forest Avenue and Putnam Avenue last Friday. Jasinski, known as Arek, experienced homelessness and often slept at that corner.



Father Mike Lopez from All Saints Church will host a candlelight vigil to honor Jasinski at the location of his death — the corners of Forest Ave. and Putnam Ave. — on Friday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.

All Saints is a Catholic Church located at 68-95 60th Lane in Ridgewood. The church has provided beds and a meals for local residents experiencing homelessness.
