Amid of torrent of environmental disinformation and climate change denial, the CUNY School of Law will host a daylong event designed to help attorneys, journalists and other concerned citizens gain the truth about environmental degradation.

The event, entitled “Environmental FOIA in the Age of Trump” will take place at CUNY Law on Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The Trump administration is dramatically changing environmental policies. More than ever environmental journalists, lawyers, advocates, and scholars are relying on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to get critical information,” CUNY Law said on its websites.. “FOIA requests and litigation over environmental records have skyrocketed during the Trump presidency.

Prominent environmental journalists and leaders in the movement against climate change will share information with attendees.

The event will also feature coffee and lunch.
