Two men died this weekend in separate car accidents, both involving light poles, police said.

Nfn Pal was driving a green Ford Escape near Main Street and 58th Avenue in Flushing on Saturday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. when he struck a traffic light pole.

Police said Pal, 62 of Jamaica, was taken to Booth Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Early Sunday morning, Jesus Montenegro-Posada was driving a 1997 Honda Civic on Review Avenue and Van Dam Street in Long Island City when he struck a traffic light pole.

Montenegro-Posada, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to ABC-7 which interviews Montenegro-Posada’s family, he was a drag racer who fixed cars to “make them faster.”

The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad are investigating both incidents.
