Corona Creep Charged in Criminal Court

An Corona man was charged in Queens Criminal Court Thursday for sexually molesting two girls, 10 and 13,in East Elmhurst, prosecutors said.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown charged Noe Angel Sorriano Cruz, 38, with first-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching, second-degree sexual abuse and two-counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

“The defendant in this case terrorized these innocent girls by following them first and then allegedly sexually assaulting them,” Brown said. “Let this be a constant warning to parents and all women — even pre-teens — to be mindful of their surroundings at all times. The defendant faces prison time if found guilty.”

Prosecutors said Sorriano Cruz followed the 10-year-old girl inside a bodega on 104th Street and grabbed her vagina before running away on Oct. 3.

On Oct. 9, Sorriano Cruz allegedly followed another girl, 13, along Junction Boulevard and grabbed her vagina before fleeing.

If convicted, Sorriano Cruz faces up to seven years in prison.
