Queens Man Dead After Flushing Vehicle Fire

A Queens man was found dead inside of a vehicle after an early morning blaze in Flushing, the police said on Friday.

FDNY firefighters and officers from the 110th Precinct responded to a 911 call of a fire at Northern Boulevard and Prince Street just after 8 a.m. and discovered a vehicle ablaze. After extinguishing the fire, FDNY personnel discovered an unidentified man unconscious and unresponsive, inside of the vehicle.

EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
