Investigators from the 115th Precinct have released the name of the gunman believed to be responsible for the bloody shooting death of a Jackson Heights man on Monday.

Nestor Londono, 49, was charged with manslaughter and weapons possession after police arrested him for shooting Jeffrey Arroyo in the chest shortly before noon. Arroyo was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police told the Eagle that an investigation into the motive behind the shooting, which took place at a home on 88th Street near 37th Avenue, is still ongoing.

On Citizen, a crime alert mobile app, commenters said that Arroyo was seen running out of the house covered in blood, screaming that he had been shot.
